Required Reading is dedicated to the films and people that have left an indelible mark on Queer History and Drag Culture.
In honor of Pride Month, the inaugural episode of Required Reading focuses on the life and work of Marsha P. Johnson, who was immortalized in the 2012 film, “Pay It No Mind: The Life and Times of Marsha P. Johnson,” a documentary dedicated to the life of a woman who was a catalyst of the Stonewall Riots and among the earliest trans activists.
