Kandy Muse

Kandy Muse is Sweet & Fierce!

Kandy is a rising star in the New York Drag scene & beyond. A native of the Big Apple, she was born in the Bronx & eventually settled in Queens after spending a few years in the Dominican Republic. She was exposed to drag at an early age, as she made the rounds of the city's parties & celebrity haunts. In fact, it was Lana del Rey who christened her "Cherry Blossom" one evening at the Gansevoort Hotel. However, she soon changed her name after watching the stunning Candy Darling documentary, Beautiful Darling.

Kandy is a business-minded queen. As a member of the Haus of Aja, she melds seamlessly with her sisters while also setting herself apart. This has been essential in the advancement of her career & branding. Her performance style & aesthetic are influenced by the soulful divas of yesteryear and femme fatale archetype, with a contemporary twist. Her light shows no signs of dimming, so be sure to keep an eye out!

Check out her incredible performance of "Rise Like A Phoenix" at Sasha Velour's "Nightgowns":
